Hello there! I am a final year PhD candidate at the Interactive Intelligence group of Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Netherlands, working with my advisor Dr. Myrthe Tielman and promotor Prof. Catholijn Jonker. Prior to joining PhD, I completed my Masters in Media Informatics from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, where I worked with my advisors Prof. Jan Borchers and Prof. Marianna Obrist (UCL, London).

My research interests are at the intersection of Human Computer Interaction and Trustworthy AI, and their application in domains such as AI governance and policy-making. In my PhD, my main focus is on designing for appropriate trust in human-AI interaction. I design AI agents that can guide humans to appropriately trust AI and augment human agency. To do this, I combine formal and social lenses with human-centered design.

My master's program and master thesis research were generously supported by Dr. Jost Henkel Stiftung Scholarship from Henkel and Deutschlandstipendium from RWTH Education fund. I have also worked in industry such as at Siemens Research, Mazda, and Grohe with VeeraVenkata (Vijay) Atmakuri (Siemens), Tim Merforth (Mazda), and Markus Ehehalt (Grohe).
